In order for films to hit their mark and make a real impact, they need a clear campaign strategy and campaign partners in place from an early stage. We are working with filmmakers, charities, foundations and brands in a number of ways to ensure that they have the tools and support they need to make this happen.
Brokering Partnerships with Campaign Partners
We broker partnerships between filmmakers and campaign partners (charities, foundations, brands) to create effective campaigns around groundbreaking films. We do this on the films that we fund (see the case studies) and through events such as the GOOD PITCH.
Match Funding
Working in documentary is our core competency and we are also directly partnering with other organisations to find and develop films that are key to their current campaigns. We have recently teamed up with the Joseph Rowntree Reform Trust to fund a film around the issues of surveillance and privacy in the UK. Find out more about Erasing David
Create Campaign Strategies
To formalise and extend the work that we have been doing on our own films, we are proud to be working in collaboration with US-based Working Films (http://www.workingfilms.org). From 2009, this partnership will offer strategic consultancy to filmmakers looking to devise social action campaigns around their films.
